We were inundated with cakes this morning! Over 70 Victoria Sponge Cakes were entered into a competition before they will be served to our visitors to the exhibition. Congratulations to the Kirklands for their winning entry!
Mrs Gilmour visited the school this afternoon, to answer the children's questions about the recent history of the school. Mrs Gilmour taught at Kewaigue from 1977 for 39 years, so was able to explain just how much things have changed in the last 50 years.
Kewaigue School is 130 years old today. To celebrate the children and staff have dressed up as Victorians. They have also taken part in a typical Victorian classroom and carried out other activities to mark this special day. To see more photographs - click here
