Today the staff and children of Kewaigue welcomed a very special visitor to our school. Sir John Lorimer, the Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man, came in to school to meet the children and host an assembly. The children all listened attentively whilst he spoke about his family, his interests and whilst he explained exactly what his job involves. He presented a special award to the child that asked the best question. This award was won by Connie Mallon who asked the question "Why did you apply for the job of Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of man when you could have applied for any other job in the world?"
Sir John, returned the invitation, and a group of Kewaigue children have been invited to visit Government House for a tour and a play in the gardens next term.
