On Monday 8th October year 6 had a great Sulby river adventure. After visiting Sulby reservoir they travelled to Ramsey following the river then, with Venture Centre instructors, they canoed up river then back down and into Ramsey harbour. It was a grand day out with lots of fun and learning!

As part of the Manx Litfest Schools’ Day, Year 5 were lucky enough to have the author Rakie Bennett come and visit them. She introduced them to a novel approach of creating a monster character. Year 6 recently took part in some STEM Sessions with Young Engineers Isle of Man. They thoroughly enjoyed using the specialist Lego they have to produce some wonderful creations. Thank you to Kewaigue PTA who funded these sessions. More sessions will follow for the rest of the school this term.
Year 2 enjoyed a workshop from Young Engineers Isle of Man over two Fridays in September. In week 1 they created a fairground wheel and in week 2 they made a boat. The children listened well and followed the instructions to produce their final piece. They then had the chance to continue building an…
