On Tuesday 16th June, we were delighted to welcome Lisa, a volunteer from Love Tech, to our school. Love Tech is an Isle of Man charity with around forty volunteers who visit schools across the island, encouraging children to consider exciting careers in STEM—Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
During our assembly, Lisa shared an engaging slideshow with the children, highlighting just some of the many career opportunities available in STEM fields. The session was both inspiring and informative, helping our pupils see how their interests and talents could lead to a wide range of future possibilities.
We were also thrilled to receive a generous donation of free books from Love Tech, which will be a fantastic resource for our pupils as they continue to explore STEM subjects in school.
We are grateful to Lisa and the Love Tech team for supporting our pupils and helping them to imagine themselves as the scientists, engineers, and innovators of tomorrow. Thank you for visiting and for making such a positive impact on our school community!
