On Friday 6th November, Year 5 visited Courtroom 3 as part of their topic on ‘Crime and Punishment through the Ages’. They took part in a quiz, identifying the various places people would sit, and also took part in a mock trial, the case of the missing packed lunch. Just before they left, Year 5 met with one of the deemsters and had a question and answer session. It was an educational and enjoyable class trip. Our thanks to the Douglas Courthouse for such a memorable visit.
