Enjoying learning and achieving, together

This half term, our Year 4 students have been investigating the impact of pollution on ocean habitats. To contribute positively to our local area, we organized a beach clean-up at Port Soderick Beach, partnering with the local charity Beach Buddies. The children actively helped clear a substantial amount of plastics, ropes, nets, and metals from the beach and the nearby glen. These efforts prevented potential harm to animals and marine life. We were immensely grateful for the assistance provided by some of the parents and grandparents. It was heartwarming to see everyone come together to support our community.
