On Friday, Year 3 and 4 enjoyed a visit from Marie Stephens. She is part of the Manx Lit Festival and she shared some of her favourite poems. After performing these she shared a way for us to create one of our own poems using pictures and repetitive language. We then worked in groups to create our own and then some of us had the chance to perform in front of the class. We discussed the importance of being loud and quiet and dramatic and soft in tone. The classes thoroughly enjoyed the session.
