Chess Championship
On Saturday, Kewaigue School entered 2 teams into the Inter School Chess Championship. The children played fantastically well and they were all commended for their attitude and behaviour at the event. Both teams were very successful and came away with both third and first place in the championship.
Marcus Creer was identified at the event by an International Grand Master as the Best Young Player of the Tournament!
Well done Team Kewaigue and a special well done and thanks to Mr Quane who has fostered a love of chess at Kewaigue and worked hard to train the team ready for this event.
