On Thursday Year 5 attended at Youth and STEM workshop run by the RAF and supported by the Family Library. It was a great session in which the children used LEGO Education in particularly the SPIKE Prime to develop robot rescue vehicles. They developed their builds and then bought them to life with coding. They then took part in a LEGO race where the children alongside other schools were able to showcase their programmed builds. Some of our robots even made it to the final with one group being pipped to the winning spot!
